Winners of the 4th International festival of Muslim cinema «Golden Minbar»2008
 The closing ceremony of the film festival “Golden Minbar – 2008” has taken place in the entertainment centre “Pyramid”. The festival ended with a sensation – two films got the main prize in the nomination “The best feature film” – “M for mother” ( Iran ) and “Jodhaa Akbar” ( India ). The prizes were presented by the jury head Bolotbek Shamshiyev. He expressed a great gratitude to the festival organizers. “Our hard life gets wonderful if there is word God,” he said.
The closing ceremony was attended by the celebrities of Russian and world cinematography: Isabelle Adjani, Irina Miroshnichenko, Aleksander Mitta, Natalya Bondarchuk, Andrei sokolov, Anastasia Zavorotnyuk and the jury members of the festival.
Isabelle Adjani accorded a warm welcome the participants and the guests of the festival. She believes that Tatarstan is a symbol of absence of interreligion conflicts. ................ More in detail

Dear Sir & Madam !
Like usually, the management of the International festival of Muslim cinema "Golden Minbar" has early begun with a full force preparation for the fourth International festival of Muslim cinema "Golden Minbar".
In result for participation in the different programs of festival, it is sent more than 50 works from 15 countries of the world, and many known figures of motion picture arts have accepted (Preliminary) to participate in the festival.
But after the meeting, the organizers of the festival with the direction of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the last week, the Ministry of Culture of the republic insisted to transferring the delays of the festival
Roughly it takes place in the middle of October. We make our apologies to all those who has sent applications for the selection commission.
Accreditation of mass-media will be declared after the statement of terms of festival. |

in the middle of October, 2008 is the day that the 4 th International Festival of Muslim's cinema «Golden Minbar» commences. We would like to welcome our numerous guests, filmmakers, journalists and our audiences to this annual forum of film.
We hope that this year's festival serves as the base for many fascinating discoveries for everyone who visits. Festival «Golden Minbar» is called to bring the mite in revival and preservation of the moral values lost last years, within domination on screens of cheap teleserials with impudent propagation of violence, interethnic disagreement, debauch, «high relation» between the individuals of nontraditional orientation .

Of course the Films singing moral values and moral foundations, are seldom on Cinema -and telescreens, and to be surprised to it, it is not necessary! |
Notably Such films become participants of our festival. |
We still in the beginning of the way: and the interest for the human sticks should be, certainly, prevailing. |
| However, gravitation to true culture is incorporated in a shower of any person, and it is a pleasure to realize, that today the cinema takes a worthy place among other arts. |
| It is very pleasant to us to spend festival in the epoch of returning of a genuine inclination to the principles of humanism. |
| Our festival, as well as all avant guarde of the world cinema, is in search. |
Each year we are being sent more and more interesting films, and we are not afraid of experimenting, this way will approach IFMC «Golden Minbar» in the league of best film festivals of the world. |
| Our purpose is to show the best models of the worldwide cinema to the understanding and over demanding audience, who are made tired of the predominance of the platitude, and poor tastes. |
