 A special TURKSOY prize for the reflection of the Turkic culture and traditions went to the film «On a Tightrope»directed by Petr Lom.

 Films “Forbidden lie” directed by Anna Brionomski (Australia) got a special prize of Cinema Historians and Critics Guild. “This is a great honor for me,” said Brionowski getting the “Black elephant” from the hands of the Guild president Viktor Matizen.

 The prize for the best director's work gose to the film «Faces», France - Netherlands, directed by (Gmax) Gerard Maximin. Bestowing this prize Marina Razbezhkina said that this is the just the case when directors become envoys between nations. “For a short period when the film was making the group managed to make some Palestinians and Israelis got friends,” she underlined.
